Corvallis (Oregon) Gazette-Times Police Log - Thursday, Dec. 12th, 2013:

A woman reported that sometime during the night, a burglar stole food, keys, a blanket and a camp stove from her residence, likely entering through an unlocked back door. Additionally, the thief moved her dog from her residence to her car. In the morning, she found that the trapped dog had destroyed the car's interior.
